The device of IR-laser dental therapy "INTRADON-SCAN" is designed for exposure to IR laser pulsed radiation with wavelength of 905 nm for in treatment of dental diseases.
The device can be used in clinics, hospitals, medical institutions, as well as at home.
Treatment principle
The therapeutic effect of the apparatus is based on pulsed radiation from a high-power infrared semiconductor laser (up to 40 W per pulse).
Distinctive features
The device has two types of infrared laser emitters.
The scanning infrared laser emitter (6 lasers) as part of the apparatus is designed to affect the projection of the lesion by infrared laser radiation in the form of a laser beam "traveling" along the irradiated surface with a given speed (scan frequency). Adapted to the shape of the jaw to irradiate 5-6 adjacent teeth immediately.
The apparatus includes a single-channel emitter with a pulsed IR laser to affect a small projection of the lesion.

Indications for use:
• Periodontitis.
• Periodontal disease (mild, moderate, severe).
• Catarrhal and hypertrophic gingivitis, occurring with congestion.
• Gingivitis.
• Odontogenic inflammatory processes of the maxillofacial region.
• Pain after filling.
• Traumatic damage to the lower jaw.
• Herpetic stomatitis.
• Tooth decay.
• Pulpites.
• Alveolitis.
Absolute contraindications in the treatment with the "Intradont-Scan" apparatus are neoplasms, acute myocardial infarction, stroke, systemic diseases.
Relative contraindications are general contraindications occur when working with physiotherapeutic apparatuses, including:
- individual intolerance;
- taking medications that can cause drug or endocrine-related (thyrotoxic) porphyria.

The device is designed for operation in a room with an air temperature of +10 ° С to +35 ° С and a relative air humidity of up to 80% at +25 ° С.
Depending on the perceived mechanical stresses, the apparatus belongs to group 2 according to GOST R 50444-92.
According to the degree of danger of the generated laser radiation, the "Intradont-Scan" apparatus belongs to class 1 laser products.
Degree of protection of the casing of the device against penetration of water and solid particles IP 30 in accordance with the classification of IEC 60529.
In terms of safety, the apparatus complies with GOST R IEC 60601-1-2010 and is made in terms of electrical safety as a class I product with a type B working part.
