AMO-ATOS-AMBLIO

The device "AMO-ATOS AMBLIO-1" is intended for drug-free or local drug therapy of eye diseases accompanied by edematous component or inflammation as well as amblyopia and accommodation spasm using the "running" magnetic field. The device can be used both in outpatient and in stationary conditions.
 
Treatment principle
   Treatment of intraocular hemorrhages is carried out by directly applying the working surface of the emitter of the "running" magnetic field (BMP) to the closed eyelids of the affected eye. In the case of combination with local drug therapy, an appropriate drug is instilled into the eye before a session.
   The treatment of amblyopia is based on irritation of the cone-shaped apparatus of the retina against the background of antihypoxic and neurotrophic effects of the “traveling” magnetic field, and for accommodation spasm - in additional movement of the emitter of photo stimuli.
 
Distinctive features

Indications for use

• Intraocular hemorrhages (hyphema, hemophthalmia, iridocyclitis, corneal imbibition).
• Vascular eye diseases (blockage of the central retinal vein and its branches, chorioretinal dystrophies).
• Keratitis, uveitis, glaucoma.
• Any eye disease accompanied by edema, inflammation.
• Amblyopia of any etiology, spasm of accommodation.
 
Contraindications
• Magnetotherapy when using the AMO-ATOS apparatus is contraindicated in acute myocardial infarction, stroke, systemic diseases, hypotension, infectious diseases, fever of unknown etiology, purulent process without outflow of exudate.
