1. Intention of the device
1.1 The device is intended for physical therapy in treatment and prophylactics of eye diseases to the method of Professor Pankov. The apparatus can be also used for iridoreflextherapy, rehabilitation and prophylactics of eye diseases in accordance with medical procedures in ophthalmic offices, clinics and individually.
Diseases of sight for treatment with the device:
- Myopia (nearsightedness)
- Hyperopia (farsightedness)
- Cataracts
- Glaucoma
- Astigmatism
- Amblyopia
- Retinal dystrophy
- Optic atrophy
- Strabismus
- Computer eye syndrome (CVS)
The device can be used for:
- Normalization of intraocular pressure
- Improvement in intraocular hemodynamics and fluid dynamics, removal of accommodation spasm.
1.2 The principle of the apparatus operation is based on interaction of optical radiation in the visible part of the spectrum with biological tissue. Recovery effect of the device is based on a cascade of photochemical reactions in the retina and eye tissues activating the vascular and lymphatic system of the eye and internal organs.
1.3 The device is manufactured in climatic design to UHL, category 4.2.GOST 15150.
1.4 The apparatus is battery-powered. The batteries are highly safe with extra low voltage according to GOST R 50267.0
1.5 In case of failure, the device is subject to GOST R 51609, Class 1.
2. The main technical parameters.
2.1 The device is subject to the requirements of TU 9444-001-78551706-2011.
2.2 The wavelength of radiation is in the range from 0.62 to 0.66 micron (red light), from 0.52 to 0.54 microns (green light) and from 0.43 to 0.47 microns (blue light).
2.3 Power of output radiation of the apparatus from 0.05 to 0,3 mVt.
2.4 Mode of radiation - pulsing.
2.5 The outer surface of the device is resistant to disinfection with 3% hydrogen peroxide solution according to GOST 177 with the addition of 0.5% detergent in accordance with GOST 25644, or 3% solution of chlorine bleach to TU 6-01-4689387-16-89.
3. Design and operation of the glasses.
3.1 The device is designed as a portable item in form of framed glasses with inserted LED emitters. The sources of quantum radiation provide sight treatment with a low-intensity radiation in the visible spectrum. The wavelength is in the range of 430-650 nm, with a maximum radiation pointed in 2.2.
3.2 The operation of the emitters is carried out by embedded microprocessor controllers that are directly inserted in the quantum emitters.
3.3 Switching on and off are performed by turning the cap of battery blocks which are combined with a radiator.
If the device does switch on, change the batteries.
3. Operation.
4.1 Before the first use of the device, unscrew the caps of the battery packs (on both emitters) and remove the transportation safety membranes. Screw the caps up.
To switch on the device, screw up the caps of the battery packs tight. Switching off is carried out by half-turning the caps.
Sessions are held only with the eyes closed.
4.2 Put the glasses on.
4.3 Turn the caps of battery blocks counterclockwise firmly.
4.4 Duration of the session:
- For children 3-5 minutes,
- Adults 5-7 minutes.
Increase the duration of the session only after consulting your doctor.
The maximum duration of a procedure - 15 minutes.
4.5 After the procedure, unscrew the caps of battery packs half-way (1-1.5 turns).
4.6 Take the device off the patient's head
